CSAH 28 (MN 30 to CSAH 21) AND BEAVER LAKE PARK IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT SUMMARY:
Located approximately 2 miles west of Ellendale, Minnesota, Steele County Road 28 is set to be under construction. The following are proposed improvements:
CSAH 28 Roadway Realignment
CSAH28 ROADWAY Alignments
- Relocate a segment of CSAH 28 east of its current alignment
- Realignment extends roughly between South Beaver Lake Road and North Beaver Lake Road
- Adjust roadway geometry to improve safety and accommodate park improvements
Beaver Lake Park Improvements
- Construction of a new boat launch (relocated south)
- Development of a new parking lot between the roadway and the lake
- Reconfiguration of park access layout to better separate vehicles, trailers, and recreation users
Trail and Access Enhancements
- Inclusion of a trail connection element tied to regional recreation funding
- Improved pedestrian and recreational circulation within the park area
- Creation of new pickleball courts

GENERAL INFO
- Anticipate delays while driving within the project area and accessing driveways.
- All work will be conducted without closure to traffic on CSAH 28. However, traffic delays will be necessary during construction.
- Traffic control signage will be placed along the corridor to notify the public. Traffic affected by construction operations will be controlled and monitored by flag persons.
